RE: SCHOOL ATTENDANCE:
Parents and Students are advised that no student may leave the College between 8.40am and 8.15pm (7.15pm on Wednesday + Friday) without seeking permission to do so. Accordingly parents should forward such a request in writing to be handed to the Deputy Principal prior to morning assembly. Notes re unexpected daily absences should be handed up to the Deputy Principal immediately on return. Students may not be allowed to return to class without a note to explain their absence.
Parents are requested not to withdraw students for Holidays within the school calendar, particularly on the final days of the term.
This advice is in accordance with the Education Act.
Changing circumstances may necessitate an alteration in the calendared programme.
