Specialised Rugby Camp Option
Incorporating a half day of Rugby training with IRFU qualified
coaches & a half day
of multi activity adventures.
In our Specialised
rugby camp:

Beginners will learn the basics
of the game in a controlled and safe environment

Backs will develop back line attack
skills like passing, tackling, evasion and kicking techniques
·
Forwards will develop skills in
rucking, mauling, scrummage, line outs and more
techniques
·
All players will learn the value
of team work, physical fitness, commitment and integrity.

Full Day Adventure Programme
Fee: €120 per week
Specialist Rugby Programme

Half Day Adventure Programme

Half Day Option is only
available for children aged 5-7 years of age.
Camp Full Day 9.30am - 5.00pm
Half Day 9.30am - 1.00pm
Charge of €15 per child for bus transport also

What Kids Need to Bring Every Day
·
Towel,
Swimming Togs, Cap & Goggles and a change of clothes.
·
A
second pair of old shoes for water activities.
·
A
Gum Shield & Boots are required for children taking part in the specialist
Rugby Programme.
·
We
hope the Sun will shine so please put on sunscreen each morning.
·
Please
do not bring Valuables.
·
Please
put your name on your belongings and gear bag.
Conditions of Enrolment
·
Application is not accepted
until the full fee has been paid.
Payment is regarded as acceptance of the conditions of enrolment.
·
Confirmation of your booking
will be issued on receipt of your Deposit / Full Fee.
·
If you have to cancel your
booking for whatever reason you will forfeit the deposit paid.
·
The right is reserved to refuse
admission or to dismiss at any time a camper whose presence by way of conduct
or deportment is deemed by the Camp Management to be detrimental to the best interests
or safety of the Camp. No refunds will be made and any additional costs,
including travel, will be at the Parents’/Guardians’ expense.
·
The Programme
will operate along the highest safety standards. Camp Rockwell will not be
responsible
for any illness, disease, accident, travel delays or loss of property unless
occasioned by a willful act of negligence on the part of Camp Rockwell or one
of its employees.
·
The Camp must be notified in
writing on application if a camper has special health requirements.
·
While Camp Rockwell has
successfully coped with certain types of medical situations in the past the
right to refuse an application is reserved on the advice of the Camp’s Medical
Staff.
·
Please advise us of any special
dietary requirements at the time of booking as these can be
catered
for by the Dining Room Staff.
·
Parents/Guardians will be liable
for any medical expenses incurred, including hospital charges.
·
Parents/Guardians will be liable
for any wilful damage or destruction caused to Camp
Rockwell or Rockwell College by those for whom they are legally responsible.
·
Parents/Guardians who request that
their children stay longer than one week are advised that the programme is repeated. It is a condition of acceptance that
such campers follow the programme as outlined in this
brochure.
·
The Camp Management reserve the
right to alter the Programme as outlined in this
brochure at any time without prior notice.
·
It is a condition of enrolment
that the booking form is signed by a Parent or Guardian only.
·
The Lost property office will
remain open until August 1st. After this
date lost property will be
donated
to charity and further enquiries will not be possible.
·
Please inform your child that
the use of mobile phones, ipads, ipods etc during activities is not
allowed.
We recommend that all such electronic devices are left at home.
·
You agree to allow photos of
activities to be used in promotional material for the Camp. Such
photos
may include your child but all photos used will be screened before use by the
Management of the Rockwell Summer Camp.
