Rugby 2011-2012
Congratulations to the SCT on retaining the MunsterSchools’ Senior Cup with a nail-biting single point victory over St. Munchin’s College on the 19th March. Congratulations to Sean McCarthy and his team, and to coaches Mark Butler, Kevin Leamy, Tom Mulcahy and Frank Fitzgerald.
Congratulations also to the U.15A team on winning the Limerick Shield, defeating Glenstal in the final on Wednesday 29th March. Congratulations to Darren Fehilly, captain, and coaches Brendan Ferris and Michael Doyle.

INTERPROVINCIAL RUGBY
The schools’ interprovincials have begun, and continue to take place at this time. Several present and recent past students have represented Munster in the different age groups.
In the Under 18 match against Leinster (7/9/11), Rockwell students Sonny Dwyer, Neville Flynn, James Maxwell, Stephen McMahon and David Johnston represented Munster. In the Under 19, also played against Leinster on the 7th September, Rob Jermyn and Cillian Kiely represented the Province. While in the U.20 match against Leinster on the 9th September, Sean McCarthy was selected. Past students who were also selected included Harry McNulty and Richard Moran (U.19), J.J.Hanrahan, Shane Buckley, Shaun Horgan, Luke Cahill, Brian Haugh and Cian O’Donnell (U.20).
